The Quarians are a race of aliens from the planet Rannoch, where they evolved in perfect symbiosis
with the biosphere. Sadly, as a result of this, their immune system can't handle exposure to any environments
other than that of their homeworld.
Any travel to other planets requires the use of a highly advanced exosuit, which protects them from bacteria, pollen, and the like.

Sadly, what the Quarians are best known for is the creation of the synthetic race known as the Geth, who eventually rebelled, taking over the homeworld, forcing them into space, where they now live out their lives in a large flotilla of ships known as the Migrant Fleet. In virtually all cases, Quarians spend almost their whole life in their suit, except in situations including reproduction, surgery, and giving birth.
One tradition of the Quarians is known as The Pilgrimage, where a young Quarian must leave the fleet, and search the galaxy for something valuable which could aid the fleet, and return with it.

I might have been a little unclear, but in case you were asking about the post itself, I did write it. I just didn't invent it myself.

ReplyDeleteBut to develop and entirely new race surviving primarily within exosuits.
I personally would like a new exosuit. Mine is badly stained and wrinkled from too many hard years of living.
